WALLACE AND GROMIT

WALLACE AND GROMIT

After looking up videos on youtube, the first animation that I looked at was of course, Wallace and Gromit !!

Wallace and Gromit is a British stop motion comedy series, which was created by Nick Park of Aardman Animations. There is a tv series of wallace and gromit, four short films and also a feature length movie.

It is about a character named Wallace, who is a inventor and cheese lover !! NOM…His companion is an intelligent dog named Gromit. Together they live in Wigan, England at 62 West Wallaby Street.

As a kid I used to love watching this series, my favorites being ‘A grand day out’ and ‘The curse of the were-rabbit’. The curse of the were rabbit was Nick Park’s first production since his five film deal with Dreamworks broke down.

This year wallace and grommet have been the talk of the world, as sculptures went on display all around Bristol, decorated by famous artist. Last month they were auctioned off to aid the Wallace and Gromit Foundation Charity, Where they raised over 2 million pounds. Many people, myself included treaded all around taking pictures of these sculptures, even buying merch from the shop. I had fun decorating a ‘paint your own gromit’ with my boyfriend.
